I can fathom one thing I can see another
Neither one is sacred both require the other
We’re only killing time here thinking and perceiving
Mindlessly believing understanding nothing
Gonna work these weary bones until the blood pours from my hands
Gonna move the stones beneath this holy mountain made of sand
Gonna slay the beast who chew the cud
And sow the grain who drinks their blood
And soon enough the fire and flood will wash it all away
When will you learn what you came here to find
Your eyes are still blind
For I am the mountain and I am the sun
When the ever-flowing fountain forms the many into one
Here along the bottom you can be your own slave
Free to live your own life slowly dig your own grave
Far across the dead world ever soul is praying
Believing what their saying all the while decaying
Gonna work these weary bones until the blood pours from my hands
Gonna move the stones beneath this holy mountain made of sand
Gonna slay the beast who chew the cud
And sow the grain who drinks their blood
And soon enough the fire and flood will wash it all away
When will you learn what you came here to find
Your eyes are still blind
For I am the mountain and I am the sun
When the ever-flowing fountain forms the many into one
I had a dream of phantoms
That surely did come true
Two there stood before
And one of them was you
Into the nothing you said something
But how shall I empathize
Or recognize the one with the yellow eyes
How shall I realize…..I was you
I am the mountain I am the sun
Rise forth from the ocean and breathe the oxygen
When will you earn what you came here to find
Will you open minds
For you are the mountain and you are the sun
When the ever-flowing fountain forms the many into one
I’ll be going home now back to where I came from
Miles from the mountain which stands beneath the dead sun
Far across the badlands where every soul is praying
Believing what they’re saying all the while decaying
