The conscience pondered down a pathward way
Feeling so inclined
Scorned by a scent he slowly went to find
Something sparkled far below
He saw a sign begin to grow
The sign said, ´´Welcome you´re late but you´re here´´

He crossed a veil of forgetfulness
Amazed at what he´d found
A cosmic change was closely circling down
Then a hallowed man appeared
Disguising lies and selling fear
The man said, ´´Welcome you´re late but you´re here´´

He said, ´´What you really need often gets abused
By what you really want so I verbally confuse you
To try and hide the difference and see if you can choose

For the price of a moment I sell you my word
So ponder on the question it´s not so absurd
To think that you could give away all that you´ve ever learned´´

If there´s a moral to the story it´s never been told
We used to all be diamonds but now we´re only gold
And the gold will turn to iron and the iron to stone.
